Click on Settings.

Click on contacts.

Click on the settings cog at the top right hand side.

Click on Add.

Make sure LDAP / ActiveDirectory is showing in the dropdown, then click the Add button.

Make sure Enabled is ticked, Authentication type is set to Simple. Enter the Hostname, Username, Password & DC supplied to you. Set Use this account for presence from the dropdown to your extension. All other settings can remain as default.

Now scroll down to edit the settings. Change Display Name to givenName

Now click the back arrow.

You will be prompted to save your changes.

Click the X to exit out of the settings menu.
