Lisa Click-to-Call — install & setup

Lisa Click-to-Call lets you dial any phone number you see — on a web page, in your CRM, or by searching your Lisa contacts — straight from your own desk phone. No copy-and-paste.

When you place a call, your own extension rings first; you answer it, and Lisa connects you to the number.

Before you start

Step 1 — Add the extension from Lisa

The easiest way to install is straight from Lisa:

  1. Sign in to Lisa.
  2. Go to Account → Click-to-call and switch it On.
  3. Click Add to Chrome. In the Chrome Web Store tab that opens, click Add to Chrome, then Add extension to confirm.
  4. Back in Lisa, choose how you'd like to start a call:
    • Right-click + popup dialer (default)
    • Right-click only
    • Popup dialer only

Prefer to install directly from the web? Open the Chrome Web Store yourself — Lisa Click-to-Call — then come back to Account → Click-to-call to switch it on.

Stay signed in to Lisa in that browser — the extension uses your Lisa session to dial from your extension.

Step 2 — Pin it to your toolbar

Pinning keeps the dialer one click away.

  1. Click the puzzle-piece icon (Extensions) near the top-right of Chrome.
  2. Find Lisa Click-to-Call in the list and click the pin icon next to it.

The blue L icon now stays on your toolbar.

Step 3 (optional) — Hover-to-call on other websites

By default the extension works on phone links via right-click and the popup dialer. Turn this on to also get a one-click button when you hover a phone number on any website.

  1. Click the Lisa Click-to-Call icon on your toolbar.
  2. Click Enable hover-to-call on other websites and approve the permission Chrome asks for.

You can turn it off again anytime from the same popup.

Making a call

There are three ways to dial:

Your extension rings — answer it, and the call connects. The popup shows which extension you're dialing from (for example, “Dials from your extension 1000”).
